Job Overview:To off-load potato trucks and continuously feed potatoes into the hopper.
- Unloading and loading of potatoes, maize meal pallets and bags, including hooking bags onto forklift forks.
- Feeding the fryer.
- Emptying the effluent bins at the effluent plant and the hash bins in the plant.
- Keeping the potato store clean, folding bags, sweeping, stacking pallets and crates.
- Checking the forklift, filling in the daily check sheet to ensure it is road worthy and safe.
- Creates to be stacked on 3 high.
- Pallet must be stacked only 10 high.
- Compliance with company policy.
- Ensure own safety and that of peers.
- Complete daily checklist of the forklift.
- Assist in the effluent plant as and when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum Std 10
- Forklift Driver license
- Good communication skills
