SAPOA Bursaries 2026: Funding for Property-Related Studies in South Africa

The South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) is inviting eligible South African students to apply for bursary funding for the 2026 academic year. This opportunity is aimed at empowering future professionals in the property and built environment sectors through fully funded studies.

Who Should Apply?

The SAPOA bursary is ideal for students with a passion for property development, valuation, construction, and urban planning. To apply, you must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Be currently in Grade 12 or have already completed Matric
  • Be accepted or registered to study full-time in one of the approved qualifications
  • Be enrolled at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa

SAPOA provides funding to students pursuing property-sector related qualifications, which include:

  • BSc Architectural Studies
  • BSc Civil Engineering
  • BSc Construction Studies
  • BSc Property Studies
  • BCom Property Valuation and Management
  • BSc Quantity Surveying
  • BSc Real Estate
  • Bachelor of Urban/Town and Regional Planning
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Property Development and Management (PGDip)

What the SAPOA Bursary Covers

Note: Meals and monthly living stipends are not included in the bursary package.
