About the Apprenticeship Programme

Key Responsibilities

Apprentices will be responsible for:

  • Completing all theoretical and practical training, as well as required skills assessments.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Option 1:

  • Grade 12 / Matric with N3 Mathematics and Physical Science or a Foundational Learning Certificate (FLT)

Option 2:

  • N2 or higher with subjects including:
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Mechanical Trade Theory
    • Technical Drawings

Option 3:

  • NCV Level 4 with:
    • Mathematics
    • Physical Science
    • Industrial Science
    • Mechanical Trade Theory
    • Technical Drawings and/or Electrical Trade Theory

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Code B Driver’s Licence (required before trade test)
  • Strong analytical and technical reasoning skills
  • Excellent numerical reasoning and spatial awareness
  • Effective communication (verbal and written)
  • Commitment to learning and high attention to detail
