Job-Related Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates should have:
- At least 3 months of industrial engineering experience or knowledge of project management in a logistics or similar environment.
- Experience or understanding of Continuous Improvement Projects, including group facilitation and planning.
- The ability to work extended hours to support a 24-hour operation.
- Strong adaptability and the ability to perform under pressure.

Main Purpose of the Role
The Graduate Logistics Engineer will be responsible for driving process improvements and implementing operational efficiencies across DSV’s logistics network. The role focuses on continuous improvement initiatives, including analysis of data, workflow optimisation, and process standardisation to support sustainable business growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) using Lean, 5S, TOC, and other methodologies.
- Conduct studies in receiving, binning, picking, kitting, sequencing, slotting, planning, and scheduling.
- Participate in layout design, KPI measurement, automation, and process improvement.
- Evaluate and analyse operational data, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
- Develop business cases for improvement projects, including ROI and productivity calculations.
- Create project timelines, monitor progress, and report on milestones.
- Facilitate training and coaching sessions on Lean and problem-solving principles.
