About the Programme
The Toyota Maintenance Learnership is a structured training programme that blends theoretical learning with practical experience. Learners will be equipped with essential technical and workplace skills that prepare them for a future in maintenance, production, and manufacturing.
During the programme, participants will be trained in:
- Teamwork and workplace collaboration
- Safety awareness and proper use of hand tools
- Assembly, manufacturing drawings, and marking-off
- Welding techniques
- Operation and monitoring of production machines
- Surface preparation methods
- Firefighting skills
- Operations and product dispatch
On completion, learners will receive an NQF Level 3 qualification, boosting their employability in the automotive sector.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following entry criteria:
- Educational qualifications:
- National Technical Certificate (N3 – N6), OR
- Matric/Technical Matric with:
- Mathematics & Physical Science OR Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory OR Mechanical Trade Theory OR Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing OR Graphical Design
