About the Transnet Millwright Apprenticeship
The Transnet Apprenticeship Programme offers a structured work-based learning experience where trainees receive both on-the-job training and classroom instruction. What You’ll Learn and Do
As an apprentice, your training will combine technical theory with real-world application. You’ll learn to:

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Education
You must have one of the following qualifications:
- N2 Certificate with subjects such as:
Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics, and Engineering Science. - N3 Certificate with subjects including:
Industrial Electronics, Mathematics (Pure), Engineering Science, Electro-technology, Fitting & Machining, or Engineering Drawing. - NCV Level 4 with fundamentals in:
English (First Additional Language), Mathematics (Pure), Life Orientation, Engineering Process, Applied Engineering Technology, and Fitting & Turning. - Technical Grade 12 with:
Mathematics (Pure), Engineering and Graphic Design, Physical Science, Mechanical Technology, and Fitting & Machining.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
