Purpose of the Learnership Programme
The Toyota Maintenance Learnership Programme is designed to deliver both theoretical instruction and practical workplace training in key maintenance and manufacturing disciplines. Learners will be trained to support maintenance operations within an advanced automotive manufacturing plant.
Throughout the programme, learners will receive training that focuses on effective teamwork, correct use of hand tools, and adherence to workplace safety standards. Additional training areas include assembly and manufacturing processes, engineering drawing and marking off, basic welding techniques, and the operation and monitoring of production machinery.
Learners will also be introduced to surface preparation methods, firefighting procedures, and operations and dispatch processes. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive an NQF Level 3 Certificate, which significantly improves employment prospects in the automotive and engineering fields.
Minimum Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must hold either a National Technical Certificate between N3 and N6 level or a Matric or Technical Matric qualification with one or more of the following subjects: Mathematics and Physical Science or Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory, Mechanical Trade Theory, Motor Trade Theory, Mechanical Drawing, or Graphical Design.
