About the Toyota Learnership

As a Learner Development Administrator, you will be based within the Learner Support Centre (LSC), where your role will be essential in ensuring that all training initiatives are delivered effectively, in line with legislation and best practices.

Your contribution will help Toyota Academy maintain its high standards, manage learning systems efficiently, and ensure all administrative processes support the overall learning strategy. You’ll also participate in special projects that strengthen the Academy’s training and development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

As part of this learnership, you will handle various tasks related to administration, customer service, and event coordination.

Administration

  • Update the Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage commercial reporting, documentation, and record-keeping processes
  • Administer the Learner Management System (LMS) — build course prospectuses, activate learners, manage billing, and maintain calendars
  • Support the distribution of training inventory across BNLE countries
  • Keep databases up to date and maintain accurate administrative records

Customer Service

  • Resolve customer queries promptly and provide clear feedback
  • Liaise with service providers to ensure all deliverables meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards

Events Coordination and Facilities

  • Implement project plans and track progress to ensure timely completion
  • Participate in PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) activities for process improvement
  • Maintain operational SOPs for facilities and support smooth daily operations

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for the Toyota Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold an NQF Level 5 qualification (240 credits) in Education, Training, and Development (ETD) or a related discipline
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in:
    • General administration and training administration
    • ETD legislation and compliance processes
    • Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) and Toyota Academy (TALA) policies and procedures
    • Customer service operations
  • Show advanced computer literacy — particularly in Microsoft Excel, MS Projects, SAP, or SAP Concur
