  • Bachelor in Computer Science and Information Technology

Only studies at locally recognised South African institutions will be considered.


Who Can Apply?

Matriculants (Grade 12 Applicants)

  • Completed Matric / Grade 12
  • English: Level 6 or higher
  • Pure Mathematics: Level 6 or higher
  • Physical Science: Level 6 or higher
  • South African citizen
  • Aged between 18 and 25
  • Currently unemployed
  • Not receiving any other funding (including NSFAS or other bursaries)

Grade 11 results and Grade 12 trial marks will be required when available.


University Students

Current or prospective university students must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum academic average of 65% or higher
  • Accepted or registered for full-time studies in an approved engineering or technology qualification
  • Institution must be locally recognised
  • Must meet the registration requirements of the institution
  • Proof of acceptance is required before a bursary is awarded
  • Not receiving any other funding (including NSFAS or other bursaries)

Documents Required for Application

Applicants must upload clear copies of the following documents:

  • Motivation letter
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • South African ID document
  • Academic records
    • Matriculants: Grade 11 results and Grade 12 trial marks
    • University students: Full tertiary academic record
