About the SGS YES (Youth Employment Service) Learnership 2025

SGS is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for its YES Learnership Programme 2025. This initiative is designed to help participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace experience, boosting their employability and opening up future career opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the YES Learnership, participants will be expected to:

  • Clean the site or workshop after completing tasks, ensuring it is free from consumables such as masking tape or tins.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards outlined by SGS.
  • Report any irregularities or non-conformities promptly.
  • Perform accurate field and laboratory work, including sampling, calculations, and testing.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
  • Uphold discipline within the assigned department.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Knowledge of laboratory-based quality control tasks.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
