About the Internship
The Graduate Internship: Sales Support Assistant is a 12-month contract designed to give unemployed graduates exposure to the financial services sector. The programme combines training, office administration, and real workplace experience in SanlamConnect’s administrative team.
Interns will be able to gain an understanding of client service, financial products, and back-office support functions, all while building professional skills that can serve as a springboard to a career in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Sales Support team, the intern will:
- Provide administrative support to financial intermediaries.
- Assist with quotations and sales support for consultants.
- Deliver after-sales services to clients and intermediaries.
- Process and track new business applications.
- Supply intermediaries with accurate product information.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding premiums.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- A National Diploma or Degree in a business-related field.
- Preferably no or very limited previous work experience.
- Must be currently unemployed.
- Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
