Duties and Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Intern, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Key responsibilities include:
- Compiling and maintaining training records, attendance registers, and learner databases.
- Coordinating internal and external training interventions, including logistics and communication.
- Preparing documentation for SETA submissions, including Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs).
- Tracking progress across learnerships, internships, and bursary programmes.
- Supporting BBBEE Skills Development scorecard evidence collection.
- Maintaining and updating the Learning Management System (LMS) or training spreadsheets.
- Conducting follow-ups with employees and training providers to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assisting with training audits and reporting requirements.
- Supporting awareness campaigns related to learning, development, and transformation.
- Drafting employment contracts and performing general HR administrative duties.
- Creating clock cards for new joiners and ensuring all leave forms and terminations are sent to payroll on time.
