| Job Description | RCL FOODS is seeking a General Worker for a 3 Months Fixed Term Contract to join our RCL FOODS Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and reports to the Transport Contoller. RCL FOODS is looking for an individual with a take-charge attitude, has decision making abilities, has strong compliance and work ethic. RCL FOODS entrusts the responsible individual to contribute to the organizations operations by means of ensuring vehicles are loaded/off-loaded at customer receiving end/site loading point and that crates are washed and supplied to departments where they needed – specific to Beverages |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Managing jobs / work ordersLoad/off-load stocks at customers receiving and on site.Load/off-load crates at customers receiving and on site.Ensure correct stocks are off-loaded at correct customers by comparing stock with an invoice.Ensure that production always have sufficient crates.Separate clean crates from dirty crates and top up water when water level is low on the crate washer machine while washing.Ensure good housekeeping is maintained.Ensure truck load bin floors are clean at all times.Attend and participate in all relevant company safety programs.Maintain workplace safety and follow established safety guidelines.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices this would include making sure that you are wearing required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety.Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediatelyUtilizing continuous improvement mind-set, assist in identifying opportunities to improve process.Ensure any crates washer defaults are reported to your line manager.Ensure any pallet jack/trolley defaults are reported to your line manager.Report total crates washed per customer and damages found.Work shifts as required and you may be asked to go out with delivery vehicles/wash crates depending on operational requirements from time to time. |
