Who Can Apply
To be considered, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen, born in South Africa
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 25
- Must be from a Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI) background
- Must currently be in Matric (2025) or have already completed Matric
- Must pass Pure Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Physical Science in Matric
- Must achieve at least 75% overall average in Matric
- If already studying, must have a minimum 65% average in the previous academic year
- Must intend to study or already be registered full-time towards one of the approved qualifications
- Must study at an accredited institution in South Africa
