Premier FMCG is excited to announce the opening of applications for their Millwright Apprenticeship Programme 2025/2027. This programme offers a unique opportunity for young, ambitious individuals who are eager to develop their technical skills and kick-start a career in the maintenance and engineering field.

Programme Overview

This Millwright Apprenticeship is a three-year training programme designed to combine both theoretical learning and hands-on practical experience. Apprentices will attend an accredited learning centre for classroom training and gain on-the-job experience under the guidance of a qualified Artisan, applying their knowledge in real-world settings during weekends and public holidays.

This programme is ideal for candidates who are self-motivated, eager to learn, and ready to tackle challenges in a dynamic environment.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will:

  • Apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
  • Work alongside experienced artisans to develop technical skills.
  • Learn to maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems.

Essential Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and logical thinking with attention to detail.

Qualification Requirements

Candidates must have an N2 qualification with at least four of the following subjects:

  • Engineering Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Electrical (advantageous)
  • Mechanical
  • Mechanical and Electrical Drawings

An N3 qualification is advantageous but not required.


Experience Requirements

  • No prior experience is necessary.
  • Some relevant work experience is considered an advantage.

Key Programme Outputs

  • Commitment to a six-day workweek, including overtime when required.
  • Successful completion of all theoretical training at the pass rate set by management.
