Potatoes South Africa (PSA) plays a vital role in promoting, serving, and protecting the potato industry in the country. Guided by its Board of Directors, the organisation ensures that the needs of South African potato producers are met while strengthening the industry as a whole.

In 2004, the Potato Industry Development Trust (PIDT) was established to support students pursuing studies in agriculture. The trust’s main goal is to secure the future of the potato industry by developing a pipeline of skilled professionals who can contribute to the sector.
