Purpose of the Work Integrated Learning Programme

PG Glass is currently building a talent pool aimed at offering future employment opportunities through various learning programmes. These include, but are not limited to, the YES Programme, Learnerships, Graduate Programmes, and other Work Integrated Learning initiatives.

The objective of these programmes is to provide unemployed youth and graduates with practical exposure, workplace discipline, and real business experience that improves employability and professional confidence.

Available Learning and Trainee Opportunities

PG Glass offers Work Integrated Learning placements across several operational and support areas.

Contact Centre Trainee

Contact Centre Trainees serve as the first point of contact for customers. Participants are responsible for handling inbound calls, emails, and other communication channels while delivering professional, friendly, and efficient service.

This role focuses on resolving customer queries, processing service requests, and ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to company standards.

Autoglass Trainee

Autoglass Trainees are exposed to the technical aspects of automotive glass installation, repair, and replacement. Trainees work on a variety of vehicles and gain hands-on experience in fitting, repairing, and replacing automotive glass products.

This role requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Customer Service Consultants

Customer Service Consultants manage the front desk operations of Fitment Centres. Their responsibilities include providing operational support, assisting customers, processing internal sales, and ensuring compliance with business processes and corporate identity standards.

In the absence of a Fitment Centre Manager, consultants may also take on a guiding or leadership role within the centre.

Human Resources and Finance Trainees

HR and Finance Trainees support administrative and operational tasks within the Human Resources and Finance departments. These placements offer exposure to internal business processes, documentation, compliance, and day-to-day operational support.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have completed Matric to be considered for these opportunities.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 29 and must already be 18 at the time of application. Candidates must be currently unemployed and must never have been registered on a YES4Youth programme before.

Applicants must have no criminal record. A valid driver’s licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
