What This Internship Offers

1. Grants Administration
- Verifying grant application forms
- Registering non-funded learners
- Scanning and filing learner enrolment documents
- Ensuring accurate learner data in the MQA database
2. Contract Management Support
- Assisting with the administration of youth and community contracts
- Tracking contract approvals and ensuring proper documentation
- Scanning and storing signed agreements
3. Project and Event Coordination
- Supporting logistics for workshops, roadshows, and meetings
- Keeping project status reports updated in Excel
- Assisting with learner registration and event preparation
4. Quality Management and Compliance
- Maintaining ISO-compliant recordkeeping systems
- Ensuring documentation aligns with internal policies and procedures
5. Stakeholder Support
- Responding to queries from training providers and stakeholders
- Assisting with invoice follow-ups and grant calculations
- Building relationships with key community partners
6. Career Guidance & Outreach
- Participating in regional and national career expos
- Coordinating materials and logistics for exhibitions
- Engaging with learners, educators, and community groups to promote MQA programmes
Who Should Apply?
The programme is strictly for unemployed graduates who have never participated in an internship before and are eager to gain real-world experience. To qualify, applicants must meet the following:
Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizen
- Unemployed, with no prior internship experience
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) or NCV (NQF 4)
- Completed qualification in any of the following:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in:
- Human Resources Management / Development
- Business Administration
- Social Sciences
- Public Relations
- Communication
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in any of the above fields will be a strong advantage
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in:
Key Skills and Attributes Required
