About the Moore Bursary Programme – Fields Covered
Moore South Africa is inviting students to apply for their 2025 bursary programme.
The bursary will be awarded to six deserving students, supporting studies towards a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting at a SAICA-accredited university in South Africa. This opportunity aims to assist students in achieving their academic goals and laying the foundation for a future career as a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Beyond financial assistance, the Moore bursary is designed to open a career pathway for graduates. After completing their studies, bursary recipients will join Moore’s dynamic team of Trainee Accountants on a fixed-term contract. Eligibility Requirements for the Moore Bursary 2025
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:
- Must be a South African resident
- Must have completed Matric with excellent results
- Must be studying or registered to study towards a BCom SAICA-accredited qualification
- Must be enrolled at a SAICA-accredited university in South Africa
- Must maintain a minimum overall average of 60% for the academic year
- Must demonstrate strong ethical and personal values such as honesty, integrity, and a solid work ethic
- Must be a self-confident achiever with a drive to succeed
- Must be in financial need and unable to afford studies independently
- Preferably, should have held leadership positions in school or university
