Fields Covered by the Hulamin Bursary Programme
Hulamin is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2025 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded to students pursuing undergraduate BSc and BEng degrees in the following fields:

What the Bursary Covers
The Hulamin bursary is designed to provide full financial and academic support, covering:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation costs
- Book allowance
- Meal allowance
- Laptop
- Medical aid insurance
In addition to financial assistance, bursary recipients will have the opportunity to participate in paid vacation work during university holidays, gaining valuable industry experience.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly. Applicants who do not receive any feedback should regard their application as unsuccessful. Before final selection, candidates will be required to complete a psychometric assessment and a medical report.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Hulamin Bursary 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be from a previously disadvantaged background
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Be studying or intending to study towards an undergraduate degree in one of the listed fields
- Meet the entry requirements for the chosen field of study
- Be entering 1st to 4th year of undergraduate study in 2025
- Be studying or have been accepted/registered at a recognised and accredited South African university

- Prepare the following certified supporting documents:
- ID document
- Latest Matric results (if currently in Matric)
- Matric certificate (if completed)
- Recent academic record (if currently studying)
- Proof of university acceptance or registration (on official letterhead)
- Short CV (maximum 2 pages)
