Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly. Applicants who do not receive any feedback should regard their application as unsuccessful. Before final selection, candidates will be required to complete a psychometric assessment and a medical report.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Hulamin Bursary 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be from a previously disadvantaged background
  • Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • Be studying or intending to study towards an undergraduate degree in one of the listed fields
  • Meet the entry requirements for the chosen field of study
  • Be entering 1st to 4th year of undergraduate study in 2025
  • Be studying or have been accepted/registered at a recognised and accredited South African university
