The Quality Administrator intern will support the Quality Department in maintaining and enhancing product and process quality standards, contributing directly to G+D’s mission to create trust in the digital age.


Key Responsibilities

The Quality Administrator intern will be responsible for:

  • Conducting weekly inspections of warehouse and production areas.
  • Reviewing job cards and production records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participating in incoming goods inspections to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Performing weekly 5S audits and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Verifying compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assisting the Head of Quality in monitoring and managing the Quality Management System.
  • Collecting and analyzing data for quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Supporting quality training initiatives and document control processes.
  • Assisting in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Mastercard Card Quality Management (CQM), and PCI.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the Yes4Youth Learnership, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be unemployed at the time of contracting.
  • Between 18 – 34 years old.
  • Must meet the definition of Black People under the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act (53 of 2003, as amended).
  • Must not have previously participated in a Yes4Youth programme.

Academic Qualifications

  • Higher Certificate (NQF 6) or equivalent in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years relevant experience in a similar role. Previous internship or learnership experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (5S, ISO standards) is a plus.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Business etiquette and professional conduct are essential.
