Graduates will gain insight into how a large corporate group functions while developing the competencies required for long-term career growth. The programme focuses on work readiness, leadership development, and exposure to specialised business concepts that support innovation, strategy execution, and operational excellence.

Business Exposure Areas

Graduates participating in the programme will be exposed to a wide range of business concepts, including the management and effective control of organisational resources. Graduate Programme Outcomes

During the programme, graduates will learn how to manage themselves and others while developing leadership capabilities. Participants will gain an understanding of business operations and departmental functions through activities such as SWOT analyses and operational assessments.

Graduates will explore methods to improve productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities to reduce costs through modern process techniques. The programme also covers financial processes, enabling participants to understand monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles and propose cost-optimisation strategies.

Additional outcomes include exposure to internal and external stakeholder management, sales cycle processes, employee productivity management, and resource allocation. Graduates will be required to propose operational efficiency solutions across technical services, guarding, cash processing, armed response, business development, and sales.

The programme reinforces a zero-harm culture through compliance with occupational health, safety, and compensation legislation. Participants will also gain insight into customer contracts, organisational culture, and human capital processes.

Graduates will learn to engage with external stakeholders such as community leaders, employer organisations, SAPS, and community forums while understanding the impact of legislation including the BCEA, National Key Points Act, PSIRA Act, Firearms Control Act, POPI Act, and Criminal Procedures Act. Compliance with ISO standards and registration with PSIRA during the programme also form part of the exposure.

Programme Requirements

To qualify for the graduate programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a Fidelity Services Group employee
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the Fidelity Services Group business
  • A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
  • Have between zero and one year of work experience
  • Be based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate to Gauteng at own cost
  • Possess a valid driver’s licence
  • Have access to a reliable vehicle
  • Have a clear criminal record
  • Be fully computer literate in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Be willing to rotate roles and work away from the appointed place of work
