About the Eskom YES Learnership Programme
The Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative is a collaboration between the government and the private sector designed to provide young people with their first real work experience. Successful applicants will join Eskom’s Contact Centre Department under the LimLanga Cluster, where they will engage in daily administrative and customer service operations. During the programme, participants will be trained and mentored to develop their understanding of the energy industry, customer service processes, and office administration tasks. Selection Criteria
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following selection requirements:
- Must not have been permanently employed with a single employer continuously for more than 12 months.
- Must not be studying full-time during the year of participation.
- Must not have participated in or registered for the YES initiative before.
Applicants who meet the above requirements will go through a formal recruitment process. Successful candidates will then be placed in Eskom’s operational divisions, depending on the company’s needs.

Minimum Requirements

- A post-matric certificate or programme will be advantageous.
