About the Internship Programme
This finance internship provides hands-on work experience in the heart of local government financial operations. Interns will work closely with the Budget and Treasury Office, developing practical skills in budgeting, reporting, supply chain, asset management, and revenue controls.

Minimum Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen with no prior work experience
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Hold a National N Diploma, Diploma, National Diploma, or B Degree in one of the following:
- Accounting
- Financial Management
- Cost and Management Accounting
- Internal Auditing
- Public Finance
- Or a relevant equivalent qualification
- Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, is essential

- Revenue billing and collection processes
- Budget planning, execution, and reporting
