About the Programme
The Professional Cookery Learnership runs for 12 months and combines both theoretical training and practical workplace experience. Successful applicants will gain the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to excel in the tourism and hospitality sector.
Participants will receive a monthly stipend of R4,600 to support them during the programme. This stipend is a fixed allowance and not linked to the number of hours worked.

Who Can Apply?

Minimum Requirements:
- A Matric certificate with good English communication skills.
- A qualification in Tourism or Hospitality will be advantageous.
- A certified copy of your South African ID.

- A detailed CV and a motivation letter.
- Proof of residence.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Important: If you have previously participated in any Department of Tourism learnerships or skills programmes, this must be disclosed in your motivation letter.
