What This Learnership Is All About
This isn’t just about stacking shelves or putting up posters. The Visual Merchandiser Learnership will give you behind-the-scenes access to how one of the world’s most iconic brands brings its products to life at store level. From organizing attention-grabbing displays to supporting national promotional campaigns, you’ll be part of a team that directly influences how Coca-Cola shows up in the market.
Learners will be mentored by Account Developers and trained on customer engagement, product visibility, ordering platforms, and brand execution strategies — all while gaining real retail experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
If accepted, here’s what your daily responsibilities might include:
- Carrying out scheduled store visits and executing merchandising plans
- Ensuring Coca-Cola products are fresh, fully stocked, and clearly visible
- Installing visual merchandising materials and in-store promotional displays
- Guiding customers on how to use Coca-Cola’s MyCCBA ordering platform
- Supporting marketing efforts and helping roll out sales campaigns
- Providing backup and in-store support as directed by your manager
Who Should Apply?
To qualify, you’ll need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
- English and at least one other South African language passed with at least 40%
- South African citizenship
- Must be unemployed and not currently studying full-time
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old
- Must not have a criminal or credit record
- Willing to work six days a week
- A valid driver’s license is beneficial
- Candidates with a post-matric qualification in Sales or Marketing will be at an advantage
- You must not currently be enrolled in, or have previously completed, a similar learnership
