Purpose of the Learnership
The Belgotex CTFL Learnership aims to equip young South Africans with industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on experience in the textile and flooring industry. This structured programme combines classroom-based theoretical learning with practical, on-the-job training.
Upon completion, learners will obtain a nationally recognised qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), positioning them as competent and employable professionals in the manufacturing and design sectors.

Requirements
To qualify for the Belgotex CTFL Learnership, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- A copy of the Matric Certificate showing at least:
- 50% in English, and
- Either 45% in Mathematics or 50% in Mathematical Literacy.
- Copies of any National Certificates, if applicable.
- A certified copy of South African ID.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be at least 1.6 meters in height.
- Must not be colour blind.
These requirements ensure that participants can perform effectively in technical and production environments within the flooring industry.
Duration and Location
This is a fixed-term learnership contract based at Belgotex’s headquarters in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. Participants will gain exposure to both manufacturing and corporate aspects of the business during the training period.
