About Youth Capital’s Mission
Youth Capital is a youth-led advocacy campaign focused on addressing South Africa’s youth unemployment crisis. With a powerful network already active in 7 provinces, Youth Capital is expanding—and now inviting changemakers from Mpumalanga and the Northern Cape to help drive national change from the ground up.
What You’ll Do as a Community Facilitator
As a Community Facilitator, you’ll represent your community and help shape conversations that influence national youth policy. Your voice and leadership will be central to creating real change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host monthly sessions on key issues like education, job creation, and youth policy
- Collect and share stories from your community to support national advocacy efforts
- Build your leadership skills through ongoing support and resources
- Mobilise and engage local youth in action-based initiatives
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years
- Demonstrated community leadership experience
- Passion for youth development and social advocacy
- Confident speaker with the ability to facilitate group discussions
