Learnership Details
AfriSam (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd, one of the country’s top suppliers of construction materials like Cement, Aggregate, and Readymix Concrete, is offering two Boilermaker learnership positions at its Jukskei and Eikenhof Quarry sites in Gauteng.
As part of this programme, selected candidates will sign an 18.2 Learnership Agreement, officially registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).

Who Should Apply?
AfriSam is specifically inviting unemployed South African youth who are technically inclined and passionate about learning the trade. You must meet at least one of the following educational requirements to qualify:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and English (all must be passed)
- N2 Certificate with four relevant subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science, and trade-specific subjects
- NCV Level 4 Engineering Certificate with seven relevant subjects
- Technical Grade 11 with Maths, Science, Language, and Trade Theory
- A relevant N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S, or N stream)
- Having a valid driver’s license will give you an added edge, though it’s not a must.
