Minimum Requirements

- Assisting with Safety Inductions and toolbox talks

- Learning about environmental compliance under the National Environmental Management Act (NEM Act)
- Identifying workplace hazards and risks
- Participating in the drafting and reviewing of Codes of Practice (COPs)
- Submitting and managing safety documents on the SHEQ system
- Assisting in the drafting of Legal Appointments
- Supporting accident and incident investigations
- Attending Health and Safety Committee meetings
- Conducting internal and external audits
- Assisting employees with health and safety queries
- Supporting the Safety Officer with visual inspections
- Reporting near misses, incidents, and accidents
