Who Can Apply?
The Absa Fellowship seeks young, passionate, and resilient leaders. To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 18–25 years old
- Academic Record: Minimum pass mark of 65% (June 2025 preliminary or final matric results accepted)
- Field of Study: Enrolling as a first-year undergraduate at a public South African university in 2026, pursuing a degree in one of the following areas:
- Commerce
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), including health sciences (excluding medical or veterinary studies)
- Creative Arts
- Digital/Data Design
Important: Applications must be submitted in the student’s own name—not by a parent or guardian.
