Programme Summary

Are you an ambitious graduate looking to kickstart your career in logistics or trade facilitation? The John Thompson Experiential Training Programme offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience within one of South Africa’s leading energy and environmental solutions companies.

Available Training Positions

John Thompson is offering a total of 10 Experiential Training positions split across two disciplines:

• 5x Logistics Officers (Experiential Training)
• 5x Clearing & Forwarding Officers (Experiential Training)

These positions provide practical, structured experience in key operational areas, preparing candidates for future roles in these critical industries.

Location and Duration

• Training Base: Gauteng
• Duration: 12 Months (Full-Time)
• Service Areas: Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and Free State

Participants will benefit from centralized training in Gauteng while supporting operations across multiple provinces.

Who Should Apply?

This programme is open to unemployed South African youth under the age of 29 who meet the following minimum criteria:

Eligibility Requirements

• Qualification: A National Diploma or Degree in any field
• Age: Must be under 29 years old
• Residency: Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Gauteng but originally from one of the following Local Municipalities:
  • Steve Tshwete
  • Msukaligwa
  • eMalahleni
  • Dipaleseng
  • Pixley Ka Isaka Seme
  • Lekwa
  • Lephalale
  • Metsimaholo
