Programme Overview
The Internship Psychometrist Programme runs from 1 February to 31 August 2026 and follows a hybrid working model. Interns will work closely with the Assessment Team to coordinate and administer psychometric assessments while supporting daily assessment operations and projects.
Successful candidates will operate under the guidance of registered psychologists, with their respective universities serving as the supervising institutions for the programme.

Key Responsibilities
Interns will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and administering psychometric assessments and video briefings
- Managing candidate assessment experiences and ensuring quality service delivery
- Preparing and reviewing individual and group assessment reports
- Providing feedback to individuals and management based on assessment outcomes
- Supporting consultants in integrating assessments into HR and talent management processes
- Conducting validation research and contributing to assessment trend analysis
- Managing assessment projects and monitoring progress
- Ensuring ethical and professional assessment practices in line with HPCSA standards
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Honours Degree in Psychology
- Registered for a BPsych Equivalence (Psychometry) course at an accredited university
- Registered with the HPCSA as a Student Psychometrist (Independent Practice)
- Sound understanding of psychometric theory and HPCSA ethical guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Corporate work experience will be advantageous
